LONGMEADOW - Longmeadow held off a much-improved visiting Holyoke team 36-26 Friday night in a back-and-forth, well-played game by both sides in the AA Conference match-up. The two teams combined for 34 fourth-quarter points in what might have been the game of the night
Following his blockers and waiting for the right moment, Lancer running back Johnny Falcone sprang loose for a 65-yard touchdown run with 3:01 remaining in the game, in what proved to be the game winner.
